A living legacy

The Qur’an in our lives

The Qur’an is more than a book we recite. It is guidance for our choices, comfort in difficulty, and a light that draws the heart closer to Allah. Its words shape how we worship, how we treat one another, and how we move through the world.

When a child learns to read the Qur’an, memorizes an ayah, and carries it into adulthood, that knowledge reaches far beyond one moment. It enters homes, prayers, and future generations. Every teacher who listens, every parent who encourages, and every community that makes space for learning shares in that legacy.

Qur’an Legacy celebrates that journey. It honours careful recitation, committed memorization, and the courage of students who stand before their community to share what they have learned.

Guidance for today

A relationship with the Qur’an gives every generation a firm foundation for faith and character.

A legacy for tomorrow

Teaching and encouraging young reciters keeps the words of Allah alive in our families and community.

Words of guidance

“Indeed, this Qur’an guides to that which is most suitable.”

Qur’an 17:9

“And We have certainly made the Qur’an easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember?”

Qur’an 54:17

Prophetic guidance

A community that learns and carries the Qur’an

The Prophet ﷺ taught us to learn the Qur’an, teach it, and remain close to its recitation. These teachings give purpose to every gathering where the Qur’an is studied and celebrated.

Learn and teach

“The best among you are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it.”

Sahih al-Bukhari 5027

A companion on the Last Day

“Recite the Qur’an, for on the Day of Resurrection it will come as an intercessor for those who recite it.”

Sahih Muslim 804
